Web Developer

Our IT department has an immediate opening for a project based Web Developer.

In the position of Web Developer you will serve as the creator and implementation facilitator for all aspects of each specific project. Responsibilities of the Web Developer include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the planning of internal web sites.
• Working with GBP employees outside of IT to ensure an efficient & accurate transference of idea to web implementation.
• Coding, verifying, and documenting developed web work.
• Facilitating roll-out of site work, provide training and documentation to internal end users.
• Troubleshooting and adjusting implementation based on user experience.

This position requires a candidate with the following skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency with Object Oriented PHP
• Mid to advanced knowledge of Javascript
• High level of comfort with MySQL queries
• Ability to communicate on all levels; ability to convey complex thoughts in a coherent manner
• Ability to maintain an organized work process
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritize and navigate multiple projects at a time
• Ability to meet strict deadlines

This position is project based and will be re-evaluated on an ongoing basis (approximately every 90 days) to determine the need for continuance.
