GBP Employee Garden

Since 2008, Great Big Pictures, Inc. allotted a 20'x30' plot of sunny, well-drained lawn space to be converted into a garden for our staff to enjoy. We put up deer fence, built raised beds, and ordered lush topsoil to be delivered from a neighboring supplier.

In the past years we've added a compost corner, set out barrels to collect rainwater, and added more people to our Garden Group. This is a great perk for employees with Green Thumbs who lack space at their own homes to garden.

The Garden Group works together to plan each season's crop, plant, and tend the plot. The harvest is shared amongst the gardeners, and bumper crops are offered to other employees when we grow too much to eat ourselves.
